"WARMED BRICKS"

Warmed bricks I remember that for a while when we were pretty young we did not have a furnace. We just had a stove that was in the center of the house. It did not heat up the entire house so it got pretty cold during the night in our bedroom. Daddy used to heat up bricks on the stove at night before bedtime. They would get very hot. He would then wrap them in newspaper and put them under our blankets at the foot of our beds to keep our feet nice and warm. I used to love it when he did that.
