I remember all the toys Daddy made for us to play with. He made a huge swing set in the backyard. The seats on the swings were big enough for two of us to sit on side by side. The swings were really high and a lot of fun. The neighbor kids would come over to swing on our swings.

      Daddy made us a teeter-totter that was so long it bowed in the middle. It was such fun. Judie, Eileen and I spent hours playing on the swings and teeter-totter.

      Daddy also made us a high jump. I remember it had a real bamboo pole.
